Genuine Vegetable Parchment is a greaseproof paper with special properties made of 100% pure cellulose, without the use of any additives. It is made using the parchmentisation process which ensure that the paper’s surface is especially smooth and is closed making the paper especially greaseproof as well as strong when when, so the paper does not break or tear when is used in wet conditions or gets wet. Becasue of this special wet strength it can be used to wrap or hold frozen or chilled food products as well as dry foodstuffs. The paper can be used for direct food contact. It is made of environmentally friendly-sourced wood pulp and can be conposted or recycled. The paper is not coated.
